When the Board of Missions
considered the addition to the traditional troika of “Pray”, “Give”, “Go” a word like “Engage”, “Connect” or some other word indicating social media activity among Black Rockers and their missionaries, it was determined that a gradual approach to seeking the Lord’s will on this matter should be pursued. This is the beginning of the process
But Let’s Face it:
Getting more people to engage about Black Rock Mission on social media might not work. God has not written “START A MISSIONS SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP” on the walls of the church! So we are open to the possibility that adding “Engage” to “Go, Give, Pray” may not be of the Lord. If that is the case, the Missions Engagement Group will cease to function.
But what happens
if we learn that God is blessing by prompting the people of Black Rock and its missionaries to respond and engage and therefore begin accomplishing the purpose intended?
